Why I love being a Travel Agent?

Years ago, I was working with a travel agent who dropped the ball and almost ruined our vacation. That got me thinking: "Could I create a better/stress-free travel experience?"

Fast forward to today and Famvia Travel is now one of the hottest travel startups in the US. We spent thousands of hours creating content, built an amazing (free!) travel dashboard for our guests and crafted the coolest Travel Advisor tool: SORS.

My family's mission now is to help you enjoy a stress-free family vacation!

How I take care of my guests?

Here at Famvia Travel, you are our "Guest" not our "Client". May not sound that different but it totally is! Our team (myself included) will always treat every Guest of our company's just like they would a Guest inside their own home. That's just how we do things. It ain't much, but it's honest work!

My Top Travel Secret 🤫

On Disney's Castaway Cay, there is a end car only loading area for the island tram. Walk just past the covered loading area and you will see a small loading area on the right side. This is usually where Cast Members queue up but you can load there too! No fighting for positioning, just easy boarding onto the last car. Works for us every visit.

My favorite Travel Destinations

When the kiddos are with us, Disney Cruise Line is usually our top choice for a family trip.
If my wife and I can sneak away, we love to relax onboard Virgin Voyages or at Sandals Grande St. Lucia.
Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure is the best ride in Florida. My daughter and I LOVE riding this together. Also, Slinky Dog.
For generational travel, we enjoy Celebrity Cruise Line or Beaches Turks & Caicos.
Icon of the Seas is one of the most amazing ships we have ever been on. Truly one-of-a-kind (let's see if Utopia of the Seas can top it!).

My favorite Family Vacation Memory

This memory was from our first family trip to Disney World when my wife was pregnant with our 2nd kiddo. The rain started to pour just as we were watching Happily Ever After for the first time. Unbeknownst to us, a Cast Member had snuck behind us and taken this picture and slipped a card into my pocket that I found when we got back to Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have no idea who that Cast Member was, but he/she created a core memory my wife and I will never forget!
