About Me ✌️

While I enjoy may day job as a Radiologic Technologist, I love traveling during my time off! I try for at least one international trip a year, and have been to countries like Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, New Zealand, Fiji, Spain, Greece, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Iceland, Mexico, and Indonesia. In addition to those trips, my husband and I usually go to Hawaii at least once a year for a more laid-back vacation.

Why I love being a Travel Agent?

I've developed an intense passion for travel throughout my adult life and usually take on the role of planner for the trips I've been on so now I'm sharing my talents! When planning bigger trips, I'm always looking for the best, most efficient experience. For example, I look for airlines with a good economy product and routes with a short layover, where possible. In big cities, I'll look for hotels near mass transit and/or areas of interest.

How I take care of my guests?

By first understanding what kind of experience they want. Some people want a packed itinerary that hits as many places as efficiently as possible, while others may just prefer a guide with recommendations so they can go with the flow. Still others may prefer the ship life, where they'll never have to worry about food or lack of activities and modern conveniences. Vacation time is sacred, spend it the way that you want to.

I stalk airfare on Google Flights and leverage loyalty program benefits, credit card benefits, and our timeshare ownership wherever possible.

My favorite Travel Destinations

• Hawaii, 100%. My husband and I usually go at least once a year to Oahu, Maui, or Big Island for some R&R • Sydney, AU, especially Manly Beach and Bondi Beach. • Asia, especially Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. Great food and beautiful island tours. • Queenstown, NZ. Absolutely breathtaking.

My favorite Family Vacation Memory

Would probably be the cruise through Asia that I went on with my husband, parents, sister, and her husband. It was on the Celebrity Solstice and started in Hong Kong with stops in Thailand and Vietnam before ending in Singapore. Such good food, beautiful scenery, and a wonderful cruise line!
